We're Bad, We're Nationwide

Today, Pembroke NC made the national news when it was featured in the USA Today in an article listing 10 great places to honor American Indian life. The article details the Lumbee outdoor drama Strike At The Wind. This is the story of the great Lumbee folk hero, Henry Berry Lowrie. If you are not familiar with the story, you owe it to yourself to read a little about it.
